		<description>I was wondering the same thing awhile ago, actually. Who knows what's taking so long this time around but it did cross my mind that maybe it'll never be updated.

If Google were to ditch PR that won't have any impact on the fact that companies still want to advertise on websites. It'll just make it more difficult for them to determine which  ones to choose.

Many people who sell links now do so based on a high PR alone. Many of these sites are pretty shitty. I think ditching PR would force people to improve their sites in order to sell links and might make the net better overall.

Companies will always have marketing budgets and will still need somewhere to spend it online, PR or no PR.</description>
